"Lovely holiday rental accommodation"
"Hi Pat and Lillian, Thanks once again for providing such lovely holiday rental accommodation. Sorry I couldn't catch up with you before we left. We really enjoyed being in Leighlinbridge and I would love to return at sometime..." Carolyn P.
"Garrison Waterside is perfectly situated for any traveler that would like to be out of the big city but have all the amenities of home. Aldi's 5 min down the road, a shop that has everything you need is open until midnight each night. This is my family's second time staying at the Garrison Waterside and it is just FANTASTIC! It is very close to the Motorway therefore getting to Dublin, Waterford, Kerry, Meath, Louth and even to Northern Ireland (3 hours) is a breeze. The vacation rentals are beautifully decorated and are extremely clean. The Cottages are surrounded by rock fencing so children can play outside in the grass or play area with ease. Garrison Waterside offers Wi-Fi in the pub that is on the property. During the day you can pop in the pub and grab a bite of lunch or in the evening you can have a nightcap and check email prior to going to bed. Leighlinbridge, County Carlow is steeped in rich history and is a fantastic location for anyone traveling abroad"
" Our 4th time staying at these holidays homes and perfect every time. The house is immaculately clean. We have family living in the area and have out grown sleeping on other people's couches. The houses tick all the boxes for us. We have taken the 2 and 3 bedroom houses. Space in both is great as we have entertained extended family each time. Central location for Carlow and surrounding counties in a beautiful location... Highly recommended". Holohan Family.
"Hey Pat & Lillian, just a quick note to say we had a great time in Leighlinbridge for Steve & laura's wedding and was helped by having rented one of your houses. They were immaculately clean and spacious and were perfect for what we needed". Thanks again, regards Robert Kelly
"Thank you for you being so welcoming during our recent visit to Ireland. We found you accommodation to be of top rate standard, and you seem to have catered for everything, even down to an iron and ironing board. I only wished we could have made more use of The Garrison Bar and your excellently kept Guinness". John W and family, UK
With its narrow winding streets that rise and fall with the lie of the land, grey limestone malthouses and jagged castle ruins overlooking a 14th century bridge, the centre of the little town of Leighlinbridge opens a vista of an earlier Ireland to the visitor".
Wildlife: Kingfishers and many other species of native wildlife, including otters, can be seen from the bridge in the village or along the river banks.
