" Our 4th time staying at these holidays homes and perfect every time. The house is immaculately clean. We have family living in the area and have out grown sleeping on other people's couches. The houses tick all the boxes for us. We have taken the 2 and 3 bedroom houses. Space in both is great as we have entertained extended family each time. Central location for Carlow and surrounding counties in a beautiful location... Highly recommended". Holohan Family.
"Hey Pat & Lillian, just a quick note to say we had a great time in leighlinbridge for Steve & laura's wedding and was helped by having rented one of your houses. They were immaculately clean and spacious and were perfect for what we needed". Thanks again, regards Robert Kelly
"Thank you for you being so welcoming during our recent visit to Ireland. We found you accommodation to be of top rate standard, and you seem to have catered for everything, even down to an iron and ironing board. I only wished we could have made more use of The Garrison Bar and your excellently kept Guinness". John W and family, UK

Take a moment to dream. Imagine a peaceful place by a beautiful river, in the shadow of a 14th century castle beside one of Europe's oldest bridges. A place redolent of history. Garrison Waterside is just such a place, created for the visitor who expects more from their holiday. Activities such as riverside walking, fishing and boating can all be savoured a few metres from your house. A few minutes walk through the village will bring you to our bar.
With its narrow winding streets that rise and fall with the lie of the land, grey limestone malthouses and jagged castle ruins overlooking a 14th century bridge, the centre of the little town of Leighlinbridge opens a vista of an earlier Ireland to the visitor".
Wildlife: Kingfishers and many other species of native wildlife, including otters, can be seen from the bridge in the village or along the river banks.
